Located on the first floor at the front of the building, this department houses our Computer Suite; young adult music CDs and fiction books; Family History, Basic Skills and ITC books; music scores & tutors; study guides for GCSE, A level & AS levels; employment books on careers; leaflets on various display boards and armchairs for comfortable browsing.
Computer Suite
Library members are asked to sign an Acceptable Use Policy and to agree to abide by its terms and conditions before they can log on for the first time. This service includes free internet access and use of Microsoft Office software for adults and young adults from 14 to 17yrs. Printing facilities are available at 10p per A4 black/white copy and 40p per A4 colour copy.
If you don’t already have library membership you will need to show current proof of name and address (not more than 3 months old) and signature to register as a computer user. You may register at the Information/Studies desk on level 2 or at the Enquiry desk on level 1. Young adults will need their guarantor's signature witnessed by a member of staff when counter signing the Acceptable Use Policy/application form. |
